Join EXCELSIOR, one of Lowestoft's last remaining Smacks still in service, on one of her hops across to Holland and explore the Netherlands this season. With the challenge of crossing the North Sea, entering into a full ships watch system you will sail into the IJsselmeer and the Markermeer, you may also have the opportunity of topping off at the Texel Island and various others to explore. Sailing past Amsterdam, taking in Enkhuizen to embark on the 24 hours voyage back across the North Sea. Spending at least one night at anchor and having at least one BBQ on the beach you will certainly get to make some memories to last a life time.

An excellent opportunity to experience an overnight voyage on Excelsior during your Easter Bank Holiday Break. Learn about sailing at nighttime, join in with the night watch and catch a few hours' sleep in the bunks below deck. Voyage begins at Ipswich and ends at Lowestoft.
